Answer: Air France
Air France is a combined company consisting of the former airlines Air Inter and UTA, now all branded under the Air France logo. Air France was the official national air carrier for the country of France for several decades until it was replaced by Air Inter. Air France has since absorbed Air Inter and once again become the national carrier for France, though it is now partially privately owned. Air France offers four seating sections in its flights: Premier, Business, Premium Economy, and Economy. Air France’s fleet consists almost entirely of Airbuses and Boeing airplanes, and was one of several international airlines to utilize the Concord jet, the first supersonic passenger plane in the world. Air France was one of the last air carriers to use the Concord until its discontinuation in the early 2000s, citing upkeep costs, safety concerns, and noise complaints. Air France offers a frequent-flyer club called Flying Blue, and maintains lounges in over 300 airports, which are accessible by all passengers except Economy. The lounges are called Le Salon, and offer buffets, international newspapers, wi-fi, and alcoholic beverages. Air France offers champagne to all passengers on flights.
