Answer: MG
Cecil Kimber founded MG cars in England in 1924, and was employed by William Morris, whose “Morris Garages” is represented by the MG logo. MG is known for producing affordable two-seater performance and sports cars. Some of MG’s early cars were adapted versions of Morris automobiles, but the company later began producing the T and M-Series Midgets, which were small cars meant for high performance. MG began producing sedans, also called saloons, as well as coupes after WWII, and incorporated closed-body designs and steel chassis. MG sports cars began competing in races against Italian and French-made automobiles, and won historic victories against competitors through the 40s and 50s. Some of the most famous clients of MG were the Duke of Edinburgh and Prince Charles of the British Royal Family, who reportedly passed on his MG automobiles to his son, Prince William. Today, some of the flagship cars of MG include the MG3 Supermini, meant to be a fun, sporty hatchback, and the MG6, a sports sedan. MG also manufactures concept cars like the MG EV and MG ICON, the former of which is an economical smart car and the latter a sport coupe.
