Answer: Fujitsu

About Fujitsu

Fujitsu is an information technology company based in Tokyo, Japan. It is the second oldest information technology company, with only IBM outdating it. Fujitsu is the largest IT provider in Japan and the fourth largest in the world. Fujitsu was founded in 1935. Fujitsu was the first manufacturer of computers in Japan. The FACOM 100 was the first computer made in Japan and was completed in 1954. Fujitsu was and still is an important player in the manufacturing game, completing their first factory/plant location in 1938. Although Fujitsu was involved in the events of WWII due to their location and importance as a business, they managed to escape the war relatively unscathed, and would go public in 1949.

Shortly after this, Fujitsu devoted itself to telecommunications, building and creating products that enhanced communication in our world, including telephones, computers and more. They created a processor for kanji characters, making it possible to write in Japanese on computers. Fujitsu has always maintained an interest in the environment, choosing to follow anti-pollution standards long before the U.S., let alone Japan and other Asian countries. Today, Fujitsu offers one of the largest cloud services, available in Japan, the U.S., Australia, the U.K. and more. Fujitsu employs about 170 thousand people in countries around the world and generates about $4 billion in revenue yearly.
