Logos Quiz Level 4-11 Answers
Answer: Lego
Lego is one of the most popular and well-known brands in the world, created in Denmark in 1934 by the carpenter and toymaker Ole Kirk Christiansen. Lego began making plastic brick toys soon after and patented its modern brick design in 1958 with the special material known as acrylonitrile butadiene styrene polymer, which allowed the bricks to be both rigid enough to retain their shape and flexible enough to be molded according to the Lego company’s exacting specifications. Lego has since become one of the most popular toy brands in the world, featuring theme parks, a magazine, catalogs, video games, and even a popular new feature-length film, titled The Lego Movie. The sets produced by Lego include Star Wars, Batman, and even Daft Punk-themed mini figures and pieces, and sets aimed at young girls, teenagers, babies, and even adults have produced famous products like the scale-model Star Destroyer, as well as countless Lego cities and car models. In the late 1990s, Lego began producing toys that could be programmed using simple computers, called Mindstorms. These spurred the development of robotics contests using Lego products, which continue to this day.
