Logos Quiz Level 4-35 Answers
Answer: Ariel
Ariel is a laundry detergent produced by Procter & Gamble and sold primarily in the UK, Mexico, Japan, Brazil, Venezuela, and India, among others. It was originally sold as Ariel Biologic, and marketed as the first detergent to use enzymes to break down stains on clothing. Its logo was originally a stylized image of an atom with rotating electrons, and has since been redesigned. Ariel’s product strategy has been to create formulas that 1) do not damage clothing, 2) require lower temperatures in order to function, and 3) require smaller amounts to effectively clean clothing. The combination of lowering the operating temperature of the washing machine and requiring less detergent to wash clothing allows Ariel to have a lessened impact on the environment, a concept which has become important for the company in recent years. Procter & Gamble, which first introduced Ariel in 1967, is a major multinational consumer goods company that produces a variety of extremely successful and common products, including Pampers diapers, Tide detergent, and Gilette shaving products. Until recently, Procter & Gamble also owned Pringles and the associated chip brands under it, but sold this group to Kelloggs. Procter & Gamble have been recognized as one of the most efficient and successful companies in the world.
