Easy jet is a British airline carried that is based in London Luton Airport. In the United Kingdom, Easy Jet is the largest airline company with the most passengers carried and inclusive of over 700 routes between 32 countries. It operates domestically and internationally. Easy Jet employs over 8,900 people. It was first established in 1995 and has since seen rapid expansion. Easy Jet owns over 200 aircraft and has an associate company known as Easy Jet Switzerland. They have multiple locations all over Europe, though still remain officially based in the United Kingdom. It was first established as a part of Easy Group conglomerate, launched by Greek business man named Stelios Haji-loannou. They started out with only two leased Boeing 737-200 aircrafts that operated on only two routes: from London to Glasgow and from London to Edinburgh. By 1996 they had ownership of one aircraft and flew their first international route to Amsterdam.
